Warranty Information- Libra Express
Libra Express uses either a 1.5V or a 3.6V AA lithium battery. For maximum battery life, use a 3.6V battery.
Remove the lid of the Libra Express device.
For first-time operation, remove the insulator pull-tab.
Ensure that the battery is well seated with correct polarity.
Secure the lid, tightening the screws completely.
An LED light will light up and blink once every 10 seconds. At this point, the device is ready to pair. Contact your dealer or visit our website for replacement batteries. 12V power cables are also available from Agrimatics for continuous power, eliminating the need for batteries (M0051 models only). When on 12V power, the Libra Express will use the internal battery as a backup power supply.

Mount the Libra Express device to the front of the equipment, with a clear line of sight to the Primary Display, with its connectors pointing downward, preferably protected from direct exposure to the elements. Connect the cable from the equipment’s load cell junction box to the device. Secure any excess cable.
12-Volt Powering Options (M0051 only)
If you have a 12-volt vehicle power cable, you can connect it to the device’s power connector. Secure any excess cable. If not, cover the unused power connector with the supplied cap.
WARNING: Vehicle battery connection shall be in accordance with all vehicle safety instructions, including 4A SLOW ACTING protective fusing with minimum 20 AWG wiring.

The Libra Express app is compatible with Apple devices running iOS 13 or newer and Android devices running Version 9 or newer, with at least 2GB of RAM.
The Libra Express app uses very little storage space on your mobile device. When choosing a mobile device, the minimum set storage capacity is sufficient; it just depends on what else you want to use it for (photos, movies, music, etc.).

Finding Load Cell Ratings
If you have an existing indicator:
Find the calibration number of your existing indicator and note that as the Rated Capacity (lb), and note 0.40 as the Sensitivity. Please consult the user manual for the existing indicator for help retrieving the calibration number.
In all other cases:
Note the Sensitivity (Rated Output) and Rated Capacity (Rated Load) from a single load cell on the equipment. Multiply the Rated Capacity (Rated Load) by the total number of load cells on the equipment.
If specifications are unknown, a suggested starting point is a Sensitivity of 0.40 and a Rated Capacity of 8000 lb multiplied by the total number of load cells on the equipment (e.g., 24,000 lb for three load cells, 40,000 lb for five load cells), regardless of the equipment’s overall capacity.
Storing Load Cell Ratings
Ensure the Libra Express device and app are paired and connected.
Select the Settings tab and ensure units (lb, kg) are set to those of the Rated Capacity found previously.
Select the Devices tab and enter the Sensitivity and Rated Capacity by tapping on the blue text.
Tap Next, then Save.
Ensure equipment is empty, and then tap Zero Scale and Zero to confirm.
Select the Display tab and tap Tare.
Apply a known weight (perhaps your body weight) to one of the equipment’s load cells, recording the displayed weight. Repeat with each remaining load cell. If the load cell weights agree and are roughly correct, you can now calibrate. If the weights agree but are roughly half of what was expected, double the Rated Capacity entered previously (leaving the Sensitivity). If the weights do not agree, check wiring and load cell orientation.
